Paul Taylor - Director
Paul established Taylor Keogh in 2003. Paul has 20 years experience in corporate communications and public affairs, with a career that has spanned senior in-house and consultancy roles. Before setting up Taylor Keogh, Paul was Head of Corporate Affairs at London Electricity Group/EDF Energy. He has extensive knowledge and experience of the energy and utility sector and has been involved in water privatisation, the roll-out of competition in the electricity and gas markets, and the development of renewable and other sources of generation.
During his time at London Electricity, Paul championed the issue of CSR onto LE's business agenda (with particular reference to social exclusion and diversity), and drove the group's successful and award-winning entry into music and arts sponsorship. He and his team won the Business in the Community "Community" Award of Excellence, and FT/Arts & Business Award, a Communicator in Business Award for LE's staff magazine and was accredited with Investors in People.

Clodagh Keogh - Director
Clodagh is a marketing specialist with over 15 years experience in business. Fluent in Italian, Clodagh has worked with multinational companies in Dublin, Brussels, Italy and the UK. She has advised clients on all areas of the marketing-mix including product launches, design and print, internal marketing and communications. Clodagh's responsibilities as a director of Taylor Keogh also include corporate marketing, quality control and financial management.

David Meechan - Account Manager
David has over 10 years experience in PR and communications, and joined Taylor Keogh this year from the Department of Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform, where he was press officer for BERR’s Renewable Energy division. There he worked closely with ministers and the Renewables Deployment Team, during the progress of the Energy Review, White Paper and Energy Bill. David has an in-depth knowledge of government energy policy, as well as extensive contacts in the national and specialist press. Before joining BERR in 2005, David held in-house, corporate and consultancy roles, working with clients such as Microsoft, Diageo, MTV and Nestle UK.

James Court - Account Executive
James joined Taylor Keogh in 2007 and has day-to-day responsibility for the firm’s political monitoring and intelligence, with a particular focus on UK and EU energy policy. He is a politics graduate specialising in UK and American politics and has worked in Parliament for a Government Minister as well as being involved in election campaigns in the UK and in the US. James stood for Parliament in the 2005 General Election and is active in local politics as well as being a School Governor in Tower Hamlets.

Peter Haslam - Associate, Public Affairs
Peter Haslam has over 25 years experience in the energy sector and the electricity industry in particular. He has an extensive knowledge of Whitehall and the wider parliamentary process, and was British Energy's Director of Government Affairs for 9 years. During his career at BE, Peter developed and implemented the company's public affairs strategy at the Scottish, Westminster and European levels. Prior to this, his roles included Public Affairs Manager at Nuclear Electric plc and Head of the Parliamentary Section at the CEGB. Before joining the electricity industry, Peter was a career civil servant in the Department of Energy.

Jim Mitchell - Associate, Government Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement
Jim has extensive experience of Central Government. He was a civil servant for 20 years and has held posts in DBERR (DTI), HM Treasury, DFES and the former Department of Energy. He is a specialist in stakeholder engagement, strategic development, and change management. He has played a senior key role in delivering a series of major pan-Departmental government & industry collaboration programmes, most recently the outsourcing of the Businesslink.gov programme to the private sector and the creation of a business-led network of Sector Skills Councils. Previously he was Private Secretary to ministers in both Conservative and Labour administrations and has had responsibility for such diverse policy priorities as Euro preparations, reform of land-use planning and the privatisation of the nuclear industry. He is a qualified project manager (PRINCE2).

Sarah Threlfall, Associate, Public Affairs & CSR
Sarah has worked in the energy sector for 15 years. Her career has spanned senior roles at EDF Energy (formerly London Electricity) and Eastern Electricity and started with six years at the House of Commons. She has extensive experience of all communications disciplines while her specialist areas of expertise are government relations, public policy and corporate responsibility (CSR). At EDF Energy, Sarah led the group's government affairs function developing and delivering public affairs programmes to support the firm's day to day business goals and corporate growth, particularly through merger and acquisition. Sarah extended her role at EDF Energy to take responsibility for the company's CSR and sustainable development strategies, ensuring that these concepts became "core" to the day to day activity. In 2003 and 2004 the work of her teams was recognised by Business in the Community through Awards for Excellence in Community Investment. In 2005 she was seconded to BITC to support its strategic development in Essex.
Fintan Keogh - Business Advisor
Fintan is an advisor to Taylor Keogh Communications and is based in Dublin. He had a 30 year career with Enterprise Ireland working with Irish companies to improve their export potential as well as helping to attract inward investment into Ireland. Market entry studies and sector analysis were core components of his work. His roles included heading up Enterprise Ireland in the UK and a more recent position as Director of their operations in Spain and Portugal, based in Madrid. He is current Chairman of the Portuguese-Irish Chamber of Commerce.
